Your Path to Wellness
A Natural Way to Heal
The use of hair thin needles to access the energy or "Qi" of the body. The needles are inserted into the skin at certain points, which are found on meridians, or channels that traverse the body. Research indicates that needle insertion can affect the body both locally and distally. Locally, there is increased blood flow to the area around the needle. Distally, there are indications that Acupuncture accesses the nervous and endocrine systems, releasing endorphins (the body's natural opioids) and secreting hormones that regulate homeostasis. Homeostasis, or balance, is necessary for optimal health. If the body is balanced, it is able to heal itself.
We use only Chinese Herbs that are GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) approved. GMPs are guidelines that govern the manufacturing process of a product to ensure that the quality and safety of the product is consistent. To ensure compliance and traceability, each step of the manufacturing process must be documented and adhere to its defined guidelines. By documenting the manufacturing process, validating the equipment used, and following preset guidelines, the quality of the products is ensured. This process includes testing the herbs for heavy metals, microbacteria, pesticide residues and other contaminants. Chinese Herbs are available in pill form, granules or herbal tea.

"Where there is stagnation, there will be pain. Remove the stagnation, remove the pain." According to Chinese Medical Theory, pain is caused by stagnation of Qi (vital energy) or vital fluids, such as lymph, phlegm or blood. Cupping is a technique that uses glass, plastic or bamboo cups applied to the skin, that gently suction the skin and superficial muscle layers up into the cup. The suction disperses and breaks up the stagnation, thereby reducing pain. The cups are either applied to the skin statically and left for about 10 minutes, or massage oil is applied to the skin and the cups are suctioned lightly and moved along the larger muscles. Cupping may causing bruising or blistering, but the skin should return to normal within about 10 days.
Standard Process Supplements
Standard Process has been the leader in whole food supplements since 1929. They grow most of the plants used for their supplements on their organic farm in Wisconsin.
The goal of all whole food supplementation is to provide nutrients for the body that are as close as possible to how they are found in nature. After all, it is in this whole food state that nutrition is typically harnessed and presented to the body.
Given proper nutrition, the human body has an amazing ability to heal itself. To do so, we need to eat a healthier diet, exercise, and take high-quality supplements made from whole foods. Whole food supplements supply our bodies with nutrients we are not getting from our diet—all the vitamins, minerals, trace minerals, and phytonutrients that foods possess in a way that nature intended, in a whole food form.
